Rev. Ellis Jones was a Congregational minister at Ebenezer Chapel, Bangor until his retirement in 1934. An active man, with a keen interest in the history of the city of Bangor as well as the history of Congregationalism in north Wales. He wrote articles for Y Dysgedydd and the North Wales Chronicle .
